Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, with an ambitious strategic plan. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to join the College to lead the delivery and development of programmes in Btec Engineering and support and manage the development of BTEC Construction & the Built Environment courses.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an engineering related area combined with substantial teaching experience on Engineering programmes up to and including level 3 and a Cert Ed or equivalent. Experience of making a significant contribution to programme and curriculum management is also required. Possession of an A1 and V1 Assessor Award is desirable.

The College prides itself on delivering high quality courses and you will be an individual committed to excellence in the classroom with the ability to motivate, support and lead the work of a team to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.

The College is situated in metropolitan Borough of Sefton, at the heart of a very busy commercial and regeneration area.

We are also responding to the exciting SuperPort developments right on our doorstep by creating Port Academy Liverpool, which offers port operations courses that allow our learners to forge careers in this exciting, global and well paid sector.
