HEAD OF OVERSEAS RECRUITMENT

King’s Bruton and Hazlegrove are looking to appoint to the newly created post of Head of Overseas Recruitment.

Set across two sites in the heart of the South Somerset countryside, King’s and Hazlegrove are co-educational boarding and day schools governed under one Foundation.

Responsible to the two Headmasters, the post will be responsible for the recruitment of all overseas pupils to both schools. The role will therefore be expected to continue to develop existing overseas markets at the same time as identifying and developing new overseas markets.

The successful candidate will be creative, goal-orientated, self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work. The post will be term time only and will involve travel and work overseas.

Further details and an Application Form may be obtained from the HR Department: recruitment@kingsbruton.com or 01749 814316.

Applications should be received before 5pm on Monday, 19th February 2018.

King’s Bruton and Hazlegrove are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

An exceptional coeducational full boarding and day school for children between 2 years to 13 years, Hazlegrove enables children to be children and is committed to celebrating childhood, a vibrant and creative curriculum, exceptional pastoral care and stunning rural Somerset location combine to make children feel nurtured, motivated, inspired and encouraged to love learning for life.

Pupil numbers are buoyant and pupil achievement is outstanding with over 100 scholarships and awards in the past three years as well as individual and team national champions on the sports field and national recognition for its musicians. Hazlegrove is an example of prep school boarding at its best and the thriving community of around 100 boarders is testament to the success of this part of the School.

Every child is unique, the breadth and depth of the learning experience at Hazlegrove ensures that all pupils have the opportunity to discover their strengths and interests. The children are grounded in their approach to the world, inclusive in the warmth that they show to others and happy in the knowledge that they are growing up in an environment which supports a broad range of interests.

When a pupil moves on from the school, as a Hazlegrovian in the 21st century, they are a child that is empathetic, kind and connected to the world; one who is independent but knows that developing relationships and a sense of duty to the community are integral to a successful life.
