To supplement its programme of school talks and cookery demonstrations, The Vegetarian Society has produced a primary school project pack and a GCSE project book. The former’s lesson plans, photocopiable worksheets, healthy-eating poster and teachers’ notes cover plant reproduction, meal design, basic nutrition and understanding food labels. The latter contains consumer statistics, glossaries, information on nutrition and menu design and much more. Colourful classroom posters are also available.
