In February 2023, Tes acquired international primary teaching resource company Teach Starter. Teach Starter provides teaching resources for Primary teachers and their students via a subscription. This is the latest evolution in the Tes journey and will complement our current offering.
Teach Starter, an Australian based resources company, is well established in their local market and has a growing presence in the US market. For authors this means an increased presence and visibility of Tes, and in turn the resources marketplace in these locations - potentially thousands more teachers looking for teaching resources!
As an author, you may wish to consider the content you provide, and if it is suitable to be used in other countries. We are a global company, so your content has always been available worldwide, but this is a good opportunity to review and refresh your content with this in mind or, upload brand new content.
The recent launch of the Events Calendar does also include both Australian and US events, so it is worth reviewing these regularly, and the map on your Author Dashboard is a great tool in checking where your content is being consumed.
While Teach Starter were already operating in the UK market, this week has seen the official launch of Teach Starter as a product of Tes. This is a great additional product to sit alongside our vast marketplace of teacher community made resources. We are sure that you will spot some marketing around the product on our social media!
