Deira International School offers high quality British education within an atmosphere both sensitive to and consistent with, UAE culture and tradition.

A fully inclusive international school, for students aged three years to eighteen years, DIS offers a combination of the National Curriculum for England and Wales to I/GCSE plus the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and International Baccalaureate Careers Programme (IBCP) with results well above world averages. When students leave DIS, they go on to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the world.

The language of instruction at DIS is English. Strong Arabic and Islamic studies programmes are offered in accordance with Ministry of Education requirements. Moreover, special Islamic classes and Arabic as a foreign language (AFL) are offered to non-native Arabic speakers.

Our approach motivates and equips students to further their education beyond DIS and most importantly, to view education as a lifelong process.
