Goldthorpe Primary Academy

Goldthorpe Primary School lies at the heart of the local community. In the summer of 2016 we relocated to our new site and opened our doors in September 2016. There are currently 264 pupils on roll.

Goldthorpe Primary Academy is a highly ambitious and aspirational learning environment where we strive at all times to find even more ways of enhancing our work to provide every child with an outstanding start to their school life in an exciting centre of learning, characterised by high standards in oracy, literacy and numeracy, a rich, broad and balanced curriculum and a happy, safe and supportive environment. Our academy has a strong commitment to meeting the needs of children and their families and promotes strong relationships with the community.

Our teachers, support staff and volunteers share the passion to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential. We are, quite simply, very proud of Goldthorpe and the community it serves.

It is a new and exciting time for Goldthorpe as we have recently joined Delta Academies Trust.
