Values and vision
Our Vision at Longcroft School and Sixth Form is for an education which is: World class | Never settles for average | Never makes excuses | and Reflects an absolute ambition for all children
Underpinned by our core values of heart, thought and vision and an unrelenting drive for excellence, children will be afforded the opportunity to truly recognise and realise their potential, whatever their background or starting point. All young people will be provided with a curriculum and school experience that effectively prepares them for life beyond school, engenders a global perspective, enables and empowers, and which demonstrates that with hard work and discipline, we can individually and collectively re-imagine what’s possible.
Our vision is critically underpinned by our values, which we seek to instil in our young people and live in to being throughout our community:
Great Heart - The human qualities that define an individual. A community which is Welcoming | Inclusive | Kind.
Great Thought - Academic success or excellence. A community which is Engaged | Rigorous | Resilient.
Great Vision - Showing our readiness for the future by developing the skills and qualities that will lead to success in life beyond school. A community which is Open | Ambitious | Confident.
