About Riverside International School - Primary
Riverside International School (Riverside) is an international school in Prague, serving approximately 720 students from 60 nationalities. Both independent and non-profit, it is a day school offering students aged 3–18 an international approach to education in the English language. The school opened in 1994, and its curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, with the Senior High offering IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Riverside celebrated its 30th year of operation in 2024.
Located on four sites (a few kilometres apart), Riverside initially opened in the Sedlec region of Prague. From this site the Early Years, Junior High and Senior High School separated and opened in their own buildings. There is some overlap between the Junior and Senior High Schools, which are located a short distance from each other.
The Primary School, which serves around 250 students in Years 1 through 6, is located next to the Vltava River in the beautiful area of Sedlec, Prague 6. The school is easily accessible by public transportation, being next to the bus and train stop.
