“Nearly all pupils are courteous and respectful and most are well motivated with positive attitudes to learning. The strong emphasis on care, support and guidance that is at the heart of the school’s ethos has a beneficial impact on many aspects of pupils’ wellbeing and personal development. In the majority of lessons, pupils make suitable progress in developing their knowledge and understanding and refining their subject-based skills. Most pupils listen attentively to teachers’ explanations and to the views and opinions of others.
