Varee Chiangmai International School is located in Chiang Mai, conveniently close to the airport, central shopping malls, and train and bus stations. Chiang Mai has a population of around 1.5 million with over 200,000 people living inside the city center.

At VCIS we teach a UK curriculum, the school is fully accredited by the UK-based Education Development Trust and Cambridge International Examinations. The school teaches from early years, though to the conclusion of A Level. We encourage the development of critical and analytical thinking skills through a variety of inclusive teaching methodologies, such as; differentiated instruction, co-operative learning, technology, Inquiry learning and research skills.

At Varee we believe that children learn best in a happy environment. We have created a place where students can learn happily both in and out of the classroom. Our classrooms are spacious and equipped with fully networked computers and internet access. The specialist facilities include Computer Labs, Science Labs, Art, Music and Drama Studios, and a well-resourced Library.

The school teaches in the English language, but also maintains connections with the local Thai community.  Applicants applying for teaching positions must hold a teaching licence in their home country, have at least two years teaching experience and a familiarity with the English National Curriculum.
