Wetherby School

Wetherby School is based in Kensington and Chelsea, London. The independent pre-preparatory school admits boys aged 4-8. There are currently around 360 boys enrolled in the school, which occupies a listed townhouse.

In 2002, the school became part of the Alpha Plus Group. It was founded in 1951 and moved to its current location in 1971.

Wetherby School provides a stimulating curriculum that gives boys a good educational grounding. Pupils are treated as individuals and are encouraged to reach their academic and personal potential.

The school offers high standards of learning and prepares students for education and life after pre-preparatory school. The curriculum is described as holistic and the school environment is traditional and safe.

"The overall achievement of the boys is excellent, fulfilling the aims of the school to provide a stimulating, supportive and happy school that meets the individual needs of all the boys. They make excellent progress, doing full justice to their ability levels. The boys are very happy and contented and their overall success is promoted by the effective teaching, by their own very positive attitudes, and by the breadth and demands of their curricular and extra-curricular experiences."
