1:1 Learning Support Assistant, 20 hours per week, term-time only

Broomwood Pre-Prep is looking for a nurturing, positive, motivated Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support of a Little Broomwood pupil.  The successful candidate will have nursery experience, an Early Years qualification and, ideally, experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs.  In class, you will help this pupil with his learning tasks and to engage in group activities. You will also support the child with transitions between lessons and with play at break times.

Working closely with our Head of Learning Support, this role is key to ensuring that the pupil makes academic and personal progress. You will need a NVQ level 3 or at least three years’ experience of working in a comparable role.
