Contract: 37.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 3 weeks

Are you a detail-oriented and dynamic individual with a knack for organisation and a passion for supporting educational environments? We’re looking for a talented Senior School Administrator to join our vibrant team and make a real impact in our school community.

The Role: Reporting to our Compliance and Administration Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our administrative and organisational services. Your primary focus will be supporting school trips, music activities, and general office functions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a talent for problem-solving, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trip Coordination: Lead the administration of school trips, from liaising with tour operators to managing logistics and communications with parents.
  • Music Department Support: Assist with the smooth operation of our music department, including managing exam entries and supporting visiting music teachers.
  • General Administration: Handle enquiries, prepare communications, assist with key school events, and provide administrative support across various functions.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Organised and Efficient: You’re a master of time management with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communicative and Professional: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Adaptable and Enthusiastic: Flexible and ready to tackle new challenges positively.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in a school environment.
  • Familiarity with iSAMs or Google Suite.
  • Experience in managing trips and activities.

About Us: We are seeking to appoint a Senior School Administrator at RMS for Girls. RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 940+ day and boarding pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 310 teaching and support staff, situated in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18. 

Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
