The National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) is a school-led development trust that spotlights the best ways to develop the nation’s educators - from initial teacher training, through to system leadership. Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive National ITE Administrator to take care of the admin function for our Initial Teacher Education (ITE) team.

As National ITE Administrator, you’ll work closely with four regional ITE Administrators to ensure that our ITE recruitment provision is well supported.

We are currently in start-up mode, so your support will be crucial to our leadership team and other faculty colleagues, who are responsible for the planning, execution, and administration of our Initial Teacher Education provision.

To succeed, you’ll be a seasoned administrator, with the skills and experience to hit the ground running. Naturally, you’ll be adept in the use of MS Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook. You’ll also have the people skills to communicate sensitively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of, or interest in, Teacher Training and the education sector. It would also be helpful if you’ve had exposure to events management, and education programme planning - particularly within a national organisation with multiple regional offices.

This is a flexible, hybrid role with a mixture of days in the office and at home, and you’ll need to be available in-person, dependent on organisation priorities.
