The Consortium Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an Advanced Practitioner in Mathematics to join our Central School Improvement Team with a prime focus on coaching and developing both specialist and non-specialist mathematics teachers. We are ambitious about the future – creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our children and young people with the best chance at a successful future. About the Role

We are looking for an inspirational and highly skilled Advanced Mathematics Practitioner to take a lead role in driving improvement of the quality of teaching and learning within the Mathematics Faculties across the Trust’s secondary schools. You will empower and inspire specialist and non-specialist mathematics teachers to develop and improve their practices through targeted coaching and mentoring to improve outcomes across the Trust’s secondary schools. The successful candidate will maintain a teaching commitment in their designated school.

About You

The successful applicant will work closely with mathematics teachers from each secondary school and will be required to travel to secondary schools across the Trust. You will provide expert coaching, mentoring and professional development while implementing and promoting evidence based teaching strategies, including Direct Instruction to ensure effective, structured teaching of mathematics across the Trust.
