Alternative Provision Instructor / Teacher KS4

Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Form is a World Class School with high expectations, encouraging our students to be aspirational with their learning and to enjoy all aspects of school life. We are looking to appoint a classroom instructor, to inspire students within our Specialist Resource Provision.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for an inspirational and focused specialist, to work within an innovative and successful inclusion faculty. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated professional who has experience of working with students with additional needs and experience of working in an education environment.

Reporting to the Head of the Specialist Resource Provision, you will work alongside a small and dedicated team of colleagues, providing appropriate support for students. We have a hardworking faculty, with a strong team ethos.

Our ideal candidate will be a committed practitioner who shares our vision ‘Let your light so shine – Be the best you can be’. You will an excellent communicator who fully understands the school curriculum and be able to deliver an appropriate programme of teaching, focussing primarily upon the needs of the individual students and how best to ensure maximum progress. You may be an unqualified Teacher or experienced Higher Lever Teaching Assistant, looking for your next role.

This role is part-time, term-time only to be discussed at interview.
