We are seeking a Horticulture Grounds Apprentice to work as part of our in-house Grounds team. The post would suit someone with a keen interest in horticultural and Grounds maintenance who enjoys the outdoors and wishes to gain both practical and college-based tutorial experience whilst achieving an NVQ qualification. The role involves being part of a dynamic and busy Grounds team at LVS Ascot helping to maintain the multifaceted grounds including sports pitch maintenance, lawn management, maintaining and growing of plants and shrubs, woodland maintenance and weed control.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07.00 – 15.00 (summer) 07.30 – 15.30 (winter), 52 weeks a year. One day per week to be spent on day release at college during term time. Uniform, tools and lunch is provided. Successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
