15 hours per week – Term Time Only, Grade H9
Actual salary range £10,356 - £11,157 (dependant on experience)
DSPL8 are seeking to appoint an Area SEND Lead. The primary focus of the role is on autism and includes emotional well-being and behavioural needs.
You will:
• Work with the schools in the partnership to deliver a consistent, co-ordinated and quality response to improve support and outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their parents, regardless of diagnosis or EHC plan
• You will also support schools to develop Hertfordshire’s Communication and Autism tiered approach and access training /accreditation through the Education Autism Trust.
This is an exciting role suitable for someone with a passion in making a difference to children with SEND in Hertfordshire, this includes use of the DSPL budget to develop and implement new projects and interventions to support Schools and young people. Working in partnership with other providers and professionals provides much opportunity to learn and develop skills from others.
