Overview of the role of Art and Design Teacher:

· Add Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach, supporting students’ progression

· Work as part of the team to deliver lessons, support positive behaviour, and to make students feel safe so that they can learn and achieve

· Follow whole school systems to teaching and learning. We will support you with a full induction, we are a very supportive team

· Create engaging and safe learning environments

We would love to hear from people who:

· Passionate champions of students with SEND

· At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment

· Happy to consider other foundation subjects (ICT, Design and Technology, and Geography etc.

The Pupils arrive at Park House School with a history of disrupted schooling. The school seeks to re-establish the concept of learning as a positive and enjoyable experience and ensure each pupil reaches their true potential. The school has clear, positive expectations for behaviour and well-established and successful positive reinforcement strategies that are reviewed regularly. Every pupil has individual targets relating to both academic and behavioural achievements that are reviewed regularly to ensure positive progress is being made.
