We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive colleague to join our outstanding Art Department. A visit to the school showcases the incredible artwork produced by our students each year. This job opportunity comes at an exciting time with the art/photography department moving into our incredible new modular building space. 

As the Art Technician, you will participate in the development and preparation of lessons, assist with school displays and exhibitions and provide general support for teachers in the classroom. This is a job which requires the ability to be proactive and work without close supervision. You will need good organisational skills and be adaptable, flexible and willing to learn. 

 Prior experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage and candidates should have practical knowledge of working with a range of art materials including ceramics, sculpture and print making. In addition, candidates should be proficient in photography and digital manipulation with a good knowledge of Adobe Photo shop. The post could be suited to a Visual Arts graduate with an interest in exploring a career within education or looking for a way to support their personal creative practice.
