Govinda’s Catering is all about precise, beautifully designed and nourishing menus. We cater for a healthy vegetarian diet, and provide food that is good for the body, mind and soul. Feel good food that genuinely uplifts you Govinda’s currently provide over 4000 meals daily nationwide and support over 9 schools. Our menus are designed by nutritional experts who understand the blend between satisfying children’s tastes and providing them with essential food types for their growth and development.

Govinda’s has been growing at a fast rate year on year and this will only continue as we expand our market and develop our services. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in an ever-evolving team of food enthusiasts to help spread this delicious and nourishing food far and wide!

What will you do?

  • Support the kitchen and food & beverage teams by keeping all kitchen areas clean and ensuring crockery and cutlery are prepared for service.
  • Prepare various types of food or pack meals as required, ensuring adherence to kitchen standards and requirements
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and prompt, professional service.
  • Perform thorough cleaning, stock management, and waste removal while complying with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in all daily kitchen duties and report any defects, risks, or near-miss incidents immediately

  • Previous kitchen experience and a solid understanding of food hygiene and kitchen health and safety.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow strict instructions systematically and consistently.
  • Commitment to safeguarding students

About Avanti House Secondary School

Avanti House is a very happy school where the behaviour and attitudes to learning, by all students are exceptional.
