Assistant Curriculum Leader English Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale, Plus TLR 2.2
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Assistant Curriculum Leader to deliver outstanding leadership of the English curriculum. The successful candidate will raise aspirations, standards and outcomes for pupils. He/she will develop reading, writing and oracy across the English curriculum, having a critical impact on improvement.
The post includes TLR2.2 responsibilities, therefore it is essential candidates are able to demonstrate their leadership abilities and how they would enhance effective English curriculum delivery throughout the school. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your career development and to work within a successful department with colleagues who are inspirational and supportive.
The successful candidate will be reflective and have a desire to work effectively in partnership with pupils, parents and colleagues (internal/external). Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

The school follows four core values: love God, serve others, work hard and value all. Pupils at Blessed Trinity RC College are recognised for their high performance across sport and the arts. The school encourages talents and new interests after class with a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award and dance lessons. Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
