Assistant Curriculum Team Lead for Geography
Amethyst Academies Trust is a new developing Trust that currently includes two schools; Aldersley High School and Moreton School. Both schools are vibrant, inclusive and have diverse communities where everyone is encouraged and expected to fulfil their potential. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to join Amethyst Academies Trust at an exciting time in our development and to make a valuable contribution on our journey to ‘outstanding’.
This role will be based predominantly at Aldersley High School which is a highly successful Academy on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. For the previous three years Progress 8 has been well above National average. Following our Ofsted inspection in November 2014 we are proud of the fact that we were judged ‘Good’ in all aspects of the framework.
We are currently recruiting to enable us to extend our highly successful Geography Department. This is a truly exceptional opportunity to work within the Geography Department as a ACTL and to play a pivotal role in driving the department forward.
Aldersley High School has a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all our children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
