Job overview

The School is seeking to appoint a new role with responsibility for the Academic Systems of the Senior School at the British School of Milan. The successful candidate will have a significant role in shaping and influencing the timetable and academic systems that underpin the highly successful outcomes of the School. This role will work closely with the Deputy Head and will require a high degree of analysis, solution focused problem solving and creativity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data analysis – responsibility for the administration and use of CEM data for tracking and monitoring as well as the analysis of internal and external assessment data.
  • Timetabling – the planning and delivery of an efficient school timetable.
  • Staffing, modelling and deployment – the modelling and deployment of staff that achieves maximum efficiencies alongside an empathetic approach to deployment.


About You

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with ability to use data to achieve academic improvement. A high degree of expertise with the use of software systems (Excel, PowerBI, databases etc) with a proven track record in using and integrating software effectively. You will be solution focused with a proven ability to shape and influence school improvement. With excellent organisational and administrative abilities, you will be able to manage your workload independently, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
