The Trust seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking practitioner who has a strong track record of outstanding teaching together with proven expertise in leading learning, with a focus on raising standards. This opportunity arises at Brookside Primary School and applications are invited from experienced classroom teachers who have a proven track record of success. Applicants must have the skills, experience and capacity to teach across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) whilst actively supporting the Headteacher in consistently delivering the best possible outcomes for all children. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

• Vision, energy and inter-personal skills required to inspire, motivate and lead others.

• Ability and tenacity to translate vision into operational reality through ambitious plans for continuous improvement.

• Exemplary classroom teaching and a firm commitment to high expectations and academic achievement.

• Personal attributes that engender respect and trust from all stakeholders within the wider community and beyond.

The successful candidate can expect to:

 • Play a pivotal role in the leadership of the primary school in the next phase of development.

• Drive forward an innovative agenda that seeks to improve the life chances of children living locally.

• Work within an inclusive ethos where pupils are encouraged to be positive, responsive and develop a genuine desire to succeed.

• Experience a wide range of leadership responsibilities and further professional development (NPQML/NPQSL) in preparation for future promotion.
