Essential qualifications include a recognised teaching qualification such as a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) or a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA). Professional qualifications such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

Desired qualifications encompass a Bachelor's degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), Applied Linguistics, or a related field. Additionally, certifications such as TESOL or TEFL can be advantageous.

Applicants should possess or be actively pursuing a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), along with a minimum of two years' experience in a mainstream primary or secondary school or further education setting.
