Vacancy: Attendance Officer
Salary: Point 7 (£16,950 per annum) Term-time plus 2 weeks
(to include attending evening meetings/events)
Start date: ASAP
Hours of work: 37hrs, 8am – 4pm
We are seeking to employ an Attendance Officer to lead the monitoring and analysis of attendance and to provide robust administration support in order to comply with the statutory requirements of attendance. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for parents/carers and will liaise closely with key school staff to ensure all attendance processes are fulfilled. The Attendance Officer will play a proactive role in promoting positive attendance.
The post holder will be expected to carry out the role with minimum supervision and will need to show the ability to work within the pastoral and safeguarding team
Experience of working within schools would be desirable.
