About this Role
We are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer for 7 hours per week (Friday), on a term time only basis to join our team at Barlby High School.
The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance Policy and improving the attendance of students. Works with identified students whose attendance is a barrier to their performance. Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance data.

Barlby High School is an 11-16 comprehensive school which serves a mixed catchment 12 miles south of York. The school has a population of around 560 students; we are a friendly, warm and caring community school.
