Reports to: Site Manager 

Salary:     NJC Scale 3. Starting at scale point 5 (Actual salary: £27,030), rising with annual increments to a maximum of scale point 6 (Actual salary: £27,438).

Working Days: 52 weeks per year (full-time), 11.00am - 7.00pm (Mon.- Fri.). 36 hours per week with 50 minutes for lunch.

Holiday entitlement: Paid holiday entitlement is 24 days + 8 bank holidays

Start date:     As soon as possible 

Location: Ryefield Primary School will be the primary location of employment but the

successful candidate will be expected to be available to work at any Trust location should the need arise.

Ryefield Primary school and Vanguard Learning Trust wish to employ an enthusiastic and proactive caretaker who will be a key member of the school’s and Trust’s operations team. Our new caretaker will work alongside the site manager in ensuring that the premises and grounds of the school are maintained to the highest possible level at all times. They will be supported by a committed and hardworking staff body, keen to ensure that every child is given the best possible educational experience. 

The successful candidate will also join the wider Trust team of operational staff, benefitting from high-quality professional development under the direction of our Director of Operations.
