We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and highly organised technician with specific knowledge of Chemistry to join our team of technicians at the school. Each member of the team plays a critical part in delivering an excellent and exciting programme of scientific education.
The purpose of the role is to support the academic staff in the smooth running of the department, offering technical assistance to staff and students in and out of lessons. Previous experience in a school environment would be advantageous.
Main duties will include;
- setting up and managing experiments and practical's (up to and including A Level )
- organising and maintaining stock and equipment
- taking responsibility to ensure the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment
