Mae Arolygiaeth Gofal Cymru yn chwilio am Arolygwyr i weithio yn ein timau Arolygu Gofal Plant a Chwarae ac Oedolion. Gan ddefnyddio ei wybodaeth a'i sgiliau, rôl Arolygydd yw diogelu ac amddiffyn llesiant pobl gan sicrhau bod gwasanaethau yn darparu gofal diogel ac annog a llywio gwelliannau.

Lleoliad

Mae'r rolau hyn wedi'u lleoli yn Swyddfa AGC yng Nghyffordd Llandudno. Disgwylir i gydweithwyr weithio o gyfuniad o leoliadau, gan gynnwys rhywfaint o amser yn gweithio gartref, fel sy'n ofynnol. Y lleoliad swyddfa y cytunir arno fydd y man gwaith dynodedig ac nid yw unrhyw drefniant gweithio o bell neu gartref yn golygu newid i'ch man gwaith dynodedig na'ch telerau ac amodau cytundebol. Bydd disgwyl i'r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus dalu unrhyw gostau cymudo i'w fan gwaith arferol. Bydd AGC yn talu costau teithio i leoliadau eraill ar wahân i'ch man gwaith arferol dewisol.

Cymwysterau

Yn ddelfrydol, dylid meddu ar gymhwyster gofal cymdeithasol/addysg cydnabyddedig ochr yn ochr â phrofiad perthnasol o'r sector gofal plant neu chwarae, neu brofiad o ofal cymdeithasol. Fodd bynnag, derbynnir ceisiadau gan ymgeiswyr sy'n gymwys i lefel gradd neu uwch (mewn unrhyw bwnc) sydd â phrofiad sylweddol o ddiogelu a/neu wella canlyniadau i blant (blynyddoedd cynnar) neu oedolion yn y sector gofal plant/chwarae/iechyd/gofal cymdeithasol. Mae enghreifftiau o gymwysterau gofal cymdeithasol/addysg derbyniol yn cynnwys y canlynol (ymhlith eraill):

  • Diploma mewn Gwaith Cymdeithasol (neu gymhwyster Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru cyfatebol),
  • cymhwyster nyrsio,
  • cymhwyster addysgu neu addysg,
  • gradd mewn Astudiaethau Blynyddoedd Cynnar/Plentyndod,
  • Diploma Lefel 5 mewn Arwain Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol neu mewn Gofal, Dysgu a Datblygiad Plant

Cyflog

Gellir ystyried cyflog cychwynnol hyd at bwynt 3 (£38,420) i ymgeiswyr sy'n dangos y sgiliau, y wybodaeth a'r profiad hanfodol i lefel eithriadol mewn cyfweliad. Nid ystyrir cyflog presennol.

Manteision

Telir Lwfans Defnyddwyr Gofal Hanfodol o £1,000 y flwyddyn mewn cyfandaliad i Arolygwyr sy'n bodloni'r meini prawf cymhwysedd (cwblhau o leiaf o 2,000 o filltiroedd statudol bob blwyddyn ariannol).

Bydd Lwfans Recriwtio a Chadw o hyd at £4,535 y flwyddyn yn daladwy. Atodir y lwfans i swydd yr Arolygydd ac mae'n ychwanegol at y cyflog parhaol.

CIW Inspector x5 - Welsh Essential - Permanent

Care Inspectorate Wales is looking for Inspectors to work within our Childcare and Play and Adult Inspection teams. Using their   knowledge and skills, the role of an Inspector is to safeguard and protect the wellbeing of people ensuring services are providing safe care and encourage and drive improvement.

Posts Available

There are 5 posts available across 2 teams:

  • 3 x Childcare and Play Inspectors - Llandudno Junction based
  • 2 x Adult Inspectors – Llandudno Junction based

Location

These roles are based in the CIW Llandudno Junction Office. Colleagues are expected to work from a blend of locations, including some time working at home, as required. The agreed office location will be the designated place of work and any remote or home working arrangement does not constitute a change to your designated place of work or contractual terms and conditions. The successful candidate will be expected to pay for their commute to their normal place of work. Travel to other locations that are not your chosen normal place of work will be paid for by CIW.

Qualifications

A recognised social care/education qualification alongside relevant childcare or play sector or social care experience is preferred however, applications will be accepted from candidates who are qualified to degree level or higher (in any subject) with substantial experience in safeguarding and/or improving outcomes for children (early years) or adults in childcare/play /health/social care sector. Examples of acceptable social care/education qualifications are (but not limited to):

  • a Diploma in Social Work (or Social Care Wales equivalent),
  • a nursing qualification,
  • a teaching or education qualification,
  • a degree in Early Years/Childhood Studies
  • a Level 5 Diploma in either Leadership for Health and Social Services or Children’s Care, Learning and Development

Salary

A starting salary of up to point 3 (£38,420) may be considered for candidates who demonstrate the essential skills, knowledge, and experience to an exceptional level at interview. Current salary is not a consideration.

Benefits

Essential Care Users Allowance of £1000 lump sum per annum is payable to Inspectors who meet the eligibility criteria (carry out a minimum of 2000 statutory miles per financial year).

A Recruitment and Retention Allowance of up to £4,535 per annum will be payable. The allowance is attached to the post of the Inspector and is in addition to the substantive salary.
