Class Teacher MPS/UPS + 1 SEN point

Kingsbury Academy is a special school based in Coventry. We cater for pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with Autism. We develop the whole child through a safe, creative and inspiring learning environment, providing opportunities for every individual to thrive within and beyond the classroom. Our community is built on trust, respect, openness, compassion, integrity and a deep sense of doing what is right for our pupils.

We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic energetic, well-organised teacher. Who encompasses excellent communication skills, is organised, highly motivated, resourceful and an effective team player. You will teach core and creative subjects in an adaptable framework that compliments each pupil’s stage of learning.

All staff are trained in positive behaviour support and augmentative communication techniques. Special educational needs experience is desirable for this position
