Horsmonden Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Class Teacher  to join our team for a 1 year fixed maternity cover, starting from September 2024. In joining our vibrant and thriving school, you will contribute your energy and vision to drive the academy to achieve its full potential.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join our thriving primary school. In this role, you'll play a vital part in shaping the educational journey of 5-7 year olds, fostering a love of learning in a fun and stimulating environment. The Academy continues to go from strength to strength and it is a fantastic time to join us on our journey. Our children will benefit hugely from an energetic, highly motivated, solution-driven and forward-thinking teacher who places them at the centre of school life, with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

What we will expect of you: We will expect you to successfully plan and deliver outstanding lessons on a daily basis that significantly advance development. We anticipate that you will achieve this by being organised, caring and enthusiastic in everything you do. We want you to be passionate in your pursuit of progress for each and every one of your children so that they can achieve the progress they deserve. Each and every member of staff, regardless of their position or seniority, is expected to participate in the overall running of the school and to act as a positive role model for our students.

You will also be expected to collaborate with your peers both within the academy and across the whole Trust. This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together.

Please note that the role is offered on a fixed term basis as maternity cover, with a salary commensurate with experience (Main Pay Scale). Every effort will be made to secure a permanent position within the LAT Family of academies thereafter.
