Located in South Oxfordshire, Abbey Woods caters for approximately 170 pupils, aged 3 to 11. It is situated in beautiful and spacious grounds, and we are an easy commute from the surrounding towns such as Abingdon, Didcot and Wallingford, along with good transport links to Oxford and Reading.

We are looking for a KS1 Class teacher who can:
- Be responsible for the learning and achievements, promoting good progress and outcomes for all pupils.
- Have experience in KS1 teaching.
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate, and challenge all pupils.
- Make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school, supporting the vision and ethos of Abbey Woods Academy.
- Bring a nurturing and inclusive approach to building relationships, with pupils, and the wider school community.

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of how pupils learn and are able to adapt teaching to meet their needs.

Abbey Woods caters for approximately 200 pupils, aged 3 to 11. It is situated in beautiful and spacious grounds which the children enjoy in both their learning and leisure time. The school is made up of eight classes. It is school policy to try to ensure that class sizes do not exceed 30 pupils. All classes are well resourced to provide a high-quality curriculum for every pupil.
