Working both as an individual and as part of a large team, you will have good interpersonal and communication skills. Being able to prioritise your workload and manage your task list independently is essential to this role.

Cromwell Community College, a member of the Active Learning Trust, is a good, oversubscribed school which aspires to be outstanding. In 2020 we became the first all-through school (4-18) in Cambridgeshire and currently have EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 in our primary phase, a full secondary phase and sixth form.

A bit about this role:
This role will offer the opportunity to work in our cleaning team with a cohort of hard working, motivated staff. You will be given responsibility for an area of the college and will be expected to make it your own and take pride in its appearance. You will have a set list of tasks to complete each shift, but will have autonomy in creating your own routine to ensure that your work is efficient and effective.
Terms of Appointment:
This is a permanent position offered on a part-time basis, largely working during school term time. You will also be working for 30 hours across the year during the school holidays, 10 in February Half Term and a further 20 in the August Summer Holidays. You will also be required to work the 5 Staff Training Days throughout the academic year.
Working hours during term time are 12.5 per week – 15:30-18:00 Monday – Friday. School holiday hours vary year to year.

About Cromwell Community College
Cromwell Community College is a co-educational secondary school located in the market town of Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. It educates around 1,100 pupils aged 11-18. The school became a comprehensive in 1969 and converted to academy status in 2012.
Over the years, Cromwell Community College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation, with the most recent project completed in 2012. The school has its own sixth form, with dedicated facilities and study areas for post-16 students.
