We are seeking a dedicated Cooking and Nutrition Assistant to support our Cooking and Nutrition teaching. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the pupils’ cooking lessons and the exciting range of activities on offer in this area. The ideal candidate will have kitchen, catering or chef experience, be adept at multitasking, and demonstrate a keen awareness of food safety and allergy protocols. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the teaching spaces/kitchen.
This is a full-time role working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, normally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm term time only and this post is available from September 2024. Extra hours may be required for events such as Master Cook/Come Dine With Us, with up to 25 extra hours including during the summer term.
