We are looking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner to lead our science team in the role of Coordinator of Learning - Science (Key Stage 3) from Easter 2025 (or earlier dependant on our successful candidate's availability).
The successful candidate will be part of a team that is truly changing lives and positively transforming the local community. Our successful candidate will quickly become an integral part of our department who have achieved great successes in recent years.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for their subject
- Experience of teaching Science at GCSE
- A comprehensive understanding of the research and cognitive science behind what makes effective teaching
- The desire to forge strong relationships with colleagues and willingness to collaborate for the benefit of all students and staff
- Will be a Biology specialist, although desirable this is not essential
