Course Leader for Electrical and Construction Apprenticeships

Harrogate College is recruiting for a Course Leader for Electrical and Construction Apprenticeships. As part of the role there will be an expectation to teach and assess electrical apprentices. Additionally there will be responsibilities of leading and directing the construction apprenticeships.

What You Will Do

• To ensure assessment and internal quality assurance processes are followed in accordance with the quality standard required by Awarding Organisations and College policies and procedures.
• To deliver quality training and assessment in work place environments using the most appropriate delivery methods in order to achieve successful outcomes for learners and employers.
• Effective and efficient management of appointments, schedule and learner caseload.
• To identify training needs for individual learners and plan and deliver training as identified.

About You

• Hold a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE) or be willing to work towards one. 
• Hold a relevant vocational / technical qualification or degree in teaching subject.
• Relevant recent experience in the subject sector area and clear expertise.
• Relevant up to date subject knowledge.
• Recent delivery in the Further Education or school sector
