Sharples Science Specialist College is an over-subscribed, 11-16 mixed comprehensive with 1,200 pupils on roll, situated in the North of Bolton. The school provides stimulating and innovative opportunities for learning, transforming the aspirations and educational outcomes for all students and the local community. Sharples was judged ‘Good’ at its last inspection in 2019, with areas of outstanding practice. 

 

Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, experienced cover supervisor to contribute positively to the effectiveness of pupil learning through providing cover for absent teachers.

 

We would particularly welcome applications from graduates seeking in-school experience prior to accessing initial teacher training.
