Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values diversity, encourages collaboration, and celebrates excellence? We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Attendance Lead to join our team here at Parkwood E-ACT Academy, responsible for providing continuity of education for pupils whose lessons are affected by short term absence of the class teacher


Key responsibilities


  • Supervising pupils undertaking work that has been set in accordance with the Academy’s policy, under the guidance of teaching/senior staff.
  • Establishing productive working relationships with students, promoting positive values/attitudes and setting high expectations
  • Effective use of ICT to support learning activities and develop students’ competence and independent use.
  • Communicating feedback from the covered lesson and ensuring all completed work is returned to the teacher
  • Assisting in classroom maintenance, setting out, clearing away and care of resources to create a purposeful attractive learning environment


Pay range:



SCP6-12 (£22,149.04 - £24,372.48 - FTE: £25,183.00 - £27,711.00)



Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCSE English & Maths
  • Qualification in Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA or equivalent
  • Degree in subject relevant to the school curriculum
  • Ability to work with an individual child or with a group
  • Ability to extend children’s thinking skills
