Cover Supervisor

Minehead Middle School is a happy, caring School catering for children from the ages of 9-13. Our priority is to ensure that our pupils, regardless of social-economical background can learn, thrive and be successful. We are passionate about driving up standards and raising the aspirations of all our students.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor to join our team and provide short term cover for in the absence of staff.   You will a daily cover service as directed by the Cover Manager and assist with the education and care of the students, ensuring high standards of attainment and achievement through the provision of cover lessons. You should enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with young people across years 5-8.   . This is an exciting chance to play a pivotal role in a supportive and friendly team in a warm and welcoming school.

You should also have:

• Good language, literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Be educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (A-C/Grade 4 plus)
• Good communication skills and a commitment to equal opportunities

Salary: Dependant on experience

Permanent appointment

Working 5 days per week

(Term Time at 38 weeks + 5 INSET Days)
