Are you an experienced education professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? Sandwell College is seeking a Curriculum and Compliance Officer to ensure the integrity and compliance of student data across the institution. This pivotal role supports our commitment to excellence in education by maintaining rigorous data standards and compliance with funding regulations.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all student data in line with the funding regulations set by relevant agencies and will be preparing ILR funding returns, while ensuring the data is readily available for external and internal audits.

The role requires a candidate with extensive experience in the Further Education (FE) sector and a strong understanding of EFA and SFA funding rules. The individual will also implement audit controls to guarantee data accuracy, ensure timely data submissions and report on funding generated by college courses, supported by appropriate audit evidence.

Additionally, the post holder will manage course files, timetables, enrolments and registers for at least two curriculum areas.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Extensive FE Experience: A strong understanding of EFA and SFA funding rules and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.

• Technical Proficiency: Prior experience with ILR processes and funding regulations is essential.

• Organisational Excellence: Capable of managing diverse responsibilities, including data submissions and reporting.

• Collaborative Approach: A team player eager to support curriculum areas and contribute to the college’s success.
