Job overview

We are looking to recruit a Day Matron (Job Share). The role will be in a girls boarding house.

 

This is a one year fixed term contract job share role starting in September 2024.

 

The main responsibilities of the role are to provide pastoral care, ensure that any safeguarding concerns are identified, liaise with parents, and obtain prescribed medicines and issue as required.

The ideal candidate would have boarding school experience although anyone from a nursing or social care background would be considered.

 

The actual salary for the position is £12,041.3292 (FTE salary £31,307.4872) per annum. With an expected 22.5 hours per week over 40 weeks per year. The Matron is expected to be available to help the Housemaster/Housemistress set up and close down the House at the beginning and end of each term.
