About the Role

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Debate Coach starting in September/October 2024. You will be leading a high-performance Debating programme for students aged 16-18, in our sixth form.

You will be planning training sessions for those students preparing to enter debating competitions and organising external competition entries. Attendance at external competitions as and when necessary is also required. Sessions will be face-to-face after school, hours and days to be dictated by the Head of Sixth Form.

About you

You will have knowledge of debating and public speaking experience, experience of coaching and supporting students in debating competitions. You will have great communication, leadership and communication skills.
