Newland House is a very special school.  You only have to walk through the front door to experience its wonderfully friendly atmosphere and the great sense of purpose that symbolises so much of what is done here. Set in three buildings, it boasts a newly established Nursery, a Pre-Prep in a new, stylish and ergonomic building and a Prep which mixes the modern and traditional.

It is proud of its achievements, not only because children regularly win scholarships to some of the best independent senior schools in the country, but because their awards are not just academic but are for music, sport, art and all round ability too.

The school’s strength lies in the breadth of education it provides.  Every child has the ability to succeed.  Teachers find the areas in which they show promise and nurture them.

The sense of family and community and the mutual support between teachers and pupils is an especially strong feature of the school.  Newland House School wants its children to be happy and self –confident, as well as having the desire to care for and respect others too.
