The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust alongside The Governors of Blessed Trinity RC College wish to appoint an energetic, well-motivated Design Technology Technician to join their existing team. Under the direction and instruction of the Curriculum Leader, the successful candidate will work to an agreed quality standard, to support teaching and learning in the Technology Department on a day to day basis as directed by the Head of Department.

Previous technical experience is essential. Experience in a similar role is desirable.

 

We are looking for someone who: -

·        Has excellent organisational and planning skills

·        Has the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

·        Has a good awareness of Health and Safety requirements

·        Is willing to work as part of a team

·        Is willing to support the ethos of the school

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

The school encourages talents and new interests after class with a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award and dance lessons. Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
