We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Technician to join our fantastic Technology Team!

Our long serving technician has just retired and as a result we are looking for the perfect candidate to join the team.

We have a brand new school building which opened at the start of September to our students.

Our new Technology department is situated on the ground floor of the new building which consists of a brand new prep room. It is filled with new equipment which includes; Ultimaker, 3D printers, a laser cutter, two new lathes and heavy metal working including a brazing hearth and welding bay. We also have new systems including Fusion 360, 3D modelling software along with

Newhouse Academy delivers Construction, Engineering, Design Technology and Food & Nutrition up to GCSE level.

We are excited to be working in partnership with the Science department to run STEM competitions.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Grade: NJC Grade 4 - 5 (dependant on experience) Scale points 7 to 18

Actual salary: £21,023- £25,329

Contract type: Term time plus 1 week - Permanent

Start date: ASAP
