The Bishop of Lancaster and Trustees of the Diocese seek to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated practising Catholic to the post of Diocesan Schools Commissioner to develop, lead and inspire the mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lancaster.
Main role:
- To advise the Episcopal Vicar on matters of education and formation in Diocesan schools.
- To develop and implement Diocesan policy and strategy for its schools in accordance with the Diocesan Trust Deed.
- To secure the further development of the Catholic life of Diocesan schools, and the further development of Religious Education.
- To lead and manage the work of the Diocese of Lancaster Education Service.
