Holmer Green is a popular 11 to 18 school with 1200 students (150+ in the Sixth Form) and is expanding. As a school we are in the top 10% of schools nationally for KS4 progress and in the top 5% of schools nationally for KS5 progress. The school has a range of newly built modern facilities which now include purpose built English and Maths block, new PE department and Sports Hall, and a new cafeteria and fitness suite. We are a single academy trust benefitting from the autonomy this affords and the school is in a strong position financially.
We can offer 8 staff training days (not the 5 you find in most schools), a two-week October half term, professional development of a high standard. We take our staff well-being seriously and offer weekly activities, like team sports, free use of the new fitness suite, a Staff Forum, access to Employee Assistance Programme, car parking, paid lunch duties plus free lunch.
We are looking for a leader on the next step of their career journey, who can take a strategic lead on leadership of Finance and operations. Holmer Green Senior School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. The school, which became an academy in 2012, has 1000+ students on the school roll, with a fast growing Sixth Form. We are currently benefitting from a large expansion plan with up to date facilities for staff and students.
