We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as Director of School for Construction, Building Services and Automotive.

 

As Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our vocational programmes. You will lead a team of dedicated tutors, manage curriculum development, and ensure that our students and apprentices receive a high quality education in their chosen vocational field. 

 

The School of Construction, Building Services and Automotive offers programmes for 16–18-year-olds, adults, and apprentices, and provides bespoke programmes which meet the needs of employers and industry.

 

Provision ranges from entry level through to level 5 HTQ in a number of subjects to enable maximum progression opportunities for students.

 

The College is involved in multiple projects across the region, including the Construction Skills Hub at Staveley, a live on-site training facility which forms part of the School of Construction, Building Services and Automotive, and falls within the Director’s remit.

 

You will need strong and effective communication skills, leadership qualities, budget management experience, curriculum design and moderation experience, along with evidence of building and developing strong external partnerships and employer engagement.
